Armed Robbery at Commonwealth Av & Deerfield St
The victim stated that at 11:35 PM, he and his friend were leaving City Convenience at 533 Commonwealth Av, when they were approached by two suspects, who appeared to be intoxicated. The victim stated that one of the suspects stated, “Give us all your money.” The victim gave the two suspects his wallet and they fled on Deerfield St towards Bay State Rd. Officers searched the area for the suspect with negative results. The victim described the first suspect as a white male, mid 20’s, with a scruffy beard, wearing either blue or gray hooded sweatshirt with “Boston University” in red writing and carrying a four-inch switchblade with a pearl handle. The second suspect is described as a white male, mid 20’s, wearing a black t-shirt that said “I hate Bush” underneath the white hooded zip-up sweatshirt.
