Evan Biller
Having moved several times throughout his childhood, Evan Biller eventually settled on UNC Chapel Hill, where he majors in Physics with a Minor in Math. Encouraged from an early age by his father, a civil engineer and computer scientist, Evan always knew he had a passion for STEM.
As an REU this summer, Evan worked with PI Darren Roblyer in the Biomedical Optical technologies lab on “Speckle Contrast Optical Spectroscopy for Blood Pressure Monitoring.” This project worked on developing a continuous, non-invasive blood pressure monitor for monitoring hypertension.
Evan plans to take a gap year following his undergraduate education, and then to apply to an MS or PhD program in Medical Physics with a clinical focus.
