fNIRS Core Facility
The Neurophotonics Center supports those who want to utilize fNIRS for their research studies.
We have a TechEn CW7 system in the CILSE building, in a behavioral testing room nearby the MRI imaging suite on the first floor. This system consists of 16 dual-wavelength sources and 32 detectors that can all be utilized to map brain activity over the whole head, or that can be more densely arranged over smaller portions of the head.
Please contact Meryem Yucel if you are interested in learning more and initiating a research study.
Analysis Software
Homer and AtlasViewer are sets of Matlab scripts used for analyzing fNIRS data to obtain estimates and maps of brain activation.
