Scott Knudstrup (Gavornik lab) received his BFA in Music in 2008 from the California Institute of the Arts and later earned a BS in Mathematical Biology in 2015 from the University of Michigan. He became involved in neurophotonics after joining the Gavornik lab in 2017 as a PhD student in the Graduate Program for Neuroscience (GPN) where he uses two-photon calcium imaging to study spatiotemporal processing in the primary visual cortex. He expects to graduate in 2022.
