Sam is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering. He completed his BS in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University in 2021. During his undergraduate studies, he developed an imaging device for real-time functional measurements of 3D printed kidney tissue at the Wyss Institute, before joining Dr. Xue Han’s lab where he studied deep brain stimulation. He joined the Han Lab as a PhD student in 2022, where he uses voltage imaging to study how the striatum regulates motor control and learning.
