Joseph Greene (Tian Lab) received his B.S in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Nanotechnology from Boston University in 2018 and received his M.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Boston University in 2019. He was first exposed to Neurphotonics during his Master’s program, when he decided to pursue a growing interest in computational imaging and conducted a thesis on designing diffractive optical elements for in-vivo fluorescent neuroimaging. This experience led him to the Computational Imaging Systems Lab where he currently continues his research in jointly optimizing and realizing diffractive optics, deep learning algorithms and optical design for next-generation in-vivo fluorescent neuroimaging platforms. He is on track to graduate in May 2024.
