Year 1

• Attend NPC Socials and other activities
• Boot Camp 1 – Acquisition and Modulation Methods (Summer)
• Match with an NPC peer mentor for lunch (Summer after 1st year)

Year 2

• Find a Faculty Co-Mentor that complements the Primary Faculty Mentor (e.g., Photonics and Neuroscience, or Neuroscience and Data Science)
• Meet with Peer Mentor in Fall and Spring
• Neurophotonics Training Program Courses
• RCR Training
• Methods for enhancing reproducibility
• Complete Individual Development Plan for research and career development
• Apply for NTP funding (optional)
• Boot Camp 2 – Data Analysis (Summer)

Year 3

• Neurophotonics Training Program Courses
• RCR Training
• Ethics Training
• Mentoring Up Training
• NPTO Leadership Inolvement
• Assist with bootcamps
• Serve as NTP Peer Mentor (Summer after 3rd year)

Year 4

• NPTO leadership involvement
• Serve as NTP Peer Mentor
• Assist with bootcamps
