The mission of the Technology Talks committee is to foster a vibrant, interdisciplinary community of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the Neurophotonics Center. Through monthly student- and faculty-led seminars, Tech Talks spotlight neurotechnologies and analysis tools used in the NPC community, promoting ongoing learning and collaboration between research groups. These informal seminars are hosted on the third Thursday of every month in conjunction with the NPC Socials.
Each semester, we also host a Quantitative Skills Workshop—an immersive, hands-on experience led by an invited academic expert—designed to deepen students’ understanding of advanced analytical methods. These workshops, along with formal talks and one-on-one mentoring opportunities, aim to expand students’ quantitative skillsets while encouraging meaningful academic exchange.
