Research Interests
Dr. Cara Lewis is the director of The Human Adaptation Laboratory. The Lab is dedicated to furthering the understanding of motor adaptation and developing interventions to reduce hip pain. An increasing number of active young and middle-aged adults are experiencing hip pain – our goal is to assess how people with hip pain walk, step down, hop, and lift their legs, and to compare this to people without hip pain.
