What is the origin of AI4ALL?

AI4ALL is a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase diversity and inclusion in artificial intelligence. AI4ALL was founded by leading AI technologists including Fei-Fei Li, Chief AI Scientist at Google cloud, funded by key influencers including Melinda Gates and Jensen Huang. Since the program was first piloted at Stanford in 2015, AI4ALL has created transformative impact for more than 1000 underrepresented youth and will be expanding to 17 universities/colleges during the Summer of 2021!

What are the Boston University Program dates and times?

July 15th to August 2nd, 2024

9:30 am-3:30 pm (M-F)

Who can apply?

All young women (or those who identify as female) who are currently in their sophomore or junior year of high school and who live fulltime in MA and attend a high school in MA.

Is programming experience necessary?

No, all you need is a curiosity about AI and a desire to learn!

What is the cost of the program?

There is no tuition or application fee, but a $100 registration fee is required of all students who attend the program. The registration is paid only by students once they are accepted into the program and is non-refundable.

Are there any other costs associated with the program?

No.

Does Boston University offer housing?

No, students must be able to commute daily to BU.
