Eligibility

  • Applicants must be current BU degree-seeking students or a BU Class of 2025 graduate.
  • Applicants are not required to have a fully formed plan to apply; any student with an innovative concept that is related to holistic wellbeing is welcome.
  • Proposals do not need to involve technology or apps. In fact, innovations in extracurricular programming and student life are welcome!
  • Applicants must commit to attending and participating in the Celebration & Project Ideation workshop, Cohort check-in, and Report out meeting this academic year.
  • Applicants are expected to be responsive to communications that will generally be sent by email.

Project Requirements

  • Proposals must be non-clinical concepts that support the holistic wellbeing of BU students, and draw from one or more of the seven dimensions of wellbeing. Non-clinical refers to ideas that do not rely on or involve health care providers like a physician, mental health counselor, or pharmacist.
  • Proposals must be student-facing and action-oriented, meaning the end users are current BU students who “do something” to learn how to support their own wellbeing (i.e., there is an educational activity or experience involved).  This can also be a concept that supports regular engagement in the practice of wellbeing.
  • Proposals must be original, innovative, and cannot replicate an existing resource or initiative at BU; however, they can seek to improve an existing program or process.
  • Proposals should seek support from an administrative or academic partner that can help facilitate delivery and execution of the idea at BU.
