Maggie Borgen

Maggie Borgen is a Film & TV major in the Kilachand Honors College who is passionate about using film and television as a way to spark dialogue about social change. She is from Montclair, New Jersey.

In high school, she coordinated a Youth & Politics series featuring her town’s municipal candidates while on the Board of MHS Democrats, hosted the Second Semester Seniors Podcast, and directed In Harmony Montclair, a teen-led organization she founded that raises money for local charities through benefit concerts and other events.

At BU, she is an actor on and Writer’s Apprentice for BUTV’s soap opera “Bay State,” and is a part of DKA and the Mixed Student Union. She hopes to become a television show-runner and actor.
