William P. Segarra

I joined the Industry Engagement office in September, 2019 after serving as Director of Industry Contracts and Agreements in Boston University’s Sponsored Program Office. For the past twenty years, I have been involved in the drafting, negotiating, executing and managing all forms of research-oriented agreements on behalf of major academic research institution as well as on behalf of pharmaceutical companies.

My role at Industry Engagement is to handle all industry-supported sponsored research agreements and industry-supported clinical trial agreements, confidential disclosure agreements (CDAs), incoming Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), unfunded research collaboration agreements, data use agreements (DUAs) and equipment loan agreements.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University, a Master of Arts degrees in Political Science from Northeastern University, a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University and Master of Executive Master of Public Health degree from UCLA.
