Web-Based Program Could Decrease Pregnancy Risks for Black Women

Brian Jack, a BU School of Medicine professor of family medicine, aided in creating the Gabby System project – an embodied conversational agent that addresses maternal and infant health needs before or in early stages of pregnancy. This system was designed to improve three main birth outcomes for Black women and their children: infant mortality, preterm birth, and low birth weight.
