The International Adult Aural Rehabilitation Conference has been held biannually since its first meeting in Portland, Maine, in 2001, and we are very happy to announce that the next meeting of this series will take place in Boston, Massachusetts. The conference will be held on June 7 -8, 2027, at Boston University.
The theme of the Thirteenth International Adult AR Conference will be “Bridge to the Future: Transforming Hearing Healthcare by Connecting Science, Technology, Clinical Practice, and the Lived Experience.” The conference will feature presentations by our invited speakers, Kathy Cienkowski, Keith Darrow, and Shari Eberts.
We are calling for papers that embrace this theme of transforming the adult aural rehabilitation experience. We welcome papers from representatives of laboratories, clinics, and educational facilities. The conference organizers also strongly support submissions from members of the hearing loss community. We invite all contributions on innovations in this increasingly important area. The conference will also include panel discussions around this theme which will include professionals and consumers.
