Congratulations to Prof. McCarthy for prestigious teaching excellence award!

We are proud to announce that BU Humphrey Program's "admired leader", Professor Jack McCarthy, who has inspired dozens of Humphrey Fellows with his leadership seminar, has been awarded with the 2012 Broderick Prize for Teaching Excellence. It comes as no surprise that he should be the recipient of the BU School of Management's highest honor for teaching. Professor McCarthy writes: "It was wonderful to be recognized for doing something I enjoy so much. Thank you for your help and support to make this happen." Many congratulations to you, Jack, for a well-deserved award!

New Assistant Director

The Humphrey Fellowship Program at Boston University would like to welcome Ms. Galia Shokry, our new Assistant Director!

BU Proposal Accepted

Fortunately, our proposal to continue hosting the Humphrey Program at Boston University was accepted by the State Department. BU will host Humphrey Fellows for another five years!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped us during this trying time: our alumni and professional affiliates who provide letters or support, our colleagues who provided invaluable advice, and all others who were instrumental in our success. We could not have done this without you.
