Aly Jafferani

Aly Jafferani is currently working (updated January 2017) as a Strategy Manager at Bank Alfalah Limited, Pakistan. During his tenure, he has assisted the bank with launching Pakistan’s first ever publicly listed issue of an Additional Tier – I capital instrument. Further, he has been working with consultants such as McKinsey and Company to drive the Bank’s transactional banking and value chain business.

Aly earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan and later earned an MBA from The Karachi Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan.

During his fellowship year, Aly aims to study entrepreneurship, project management, and financial institution management. He also seeks to attend several entrepreneurship conferences to build his network. Upon his return to Pakistan, Aly hopes to one day establish a fully automated microfinance institute to benefit the rural populations of Pakistan.
