Wassila Mammeri

Wassila Mammeri has worked at Citibank Algeria N.A. for the past eight years, where she has held several roles including her most recent position of assistant vice president in the Client Delivery Department, where she managed customer communication regarding changes in procedure and products, identified issues, and proposed solutions.

Previously, she was a senior operations manager leading a team of twenty in cash management dedicated to customers based in Algeria or subsidiaries of multinational companies. The department included a range of products and solutions both local and global. Prior to Citibank, she worked at the National Agency for Investment Development as an engineer in statistics.

Wassila earned an engineering degree in statistics from the National Institute of Planning and Statistics in Algeria (2002). During her Humphrey year, she plans to enhance her knowledge of international trade, credit risk and analysis, financial markets, and internal auditing. She would also like to expand her professional network and improve her managerial and leadership skills.
