Anusha Polwatte Walawwe is the Head of Compliance at NDB Capital Holdings PLC, which offers a gamut of investment banking services in Sri Lanka and has been recognized by International Finance Magazine and Euromoney Magazine for its contribution to the capital market of Sri Lanka.

Anusha is responsible for developing stronger compliance strategies to lead NDB Capital Group towards a world-class compliance culture. Her previous employers include the Securities & Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka and reputed legal and financial services firms.  She is committed to working for charitable causes and reconciliations efforts and is currently a Trustee to the NDB Capital Scholarship Trust.

Anusha is an Attorney-at-Law and holds a Bachelor of Laws honours degree from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She is also an awardee of the Australian Leadership Award.  During her Humphrey year, Anusha intends to enhance her professional expertise in the area of capital market compliance, risk management and corporate governance.
