Muhammad Mudassir

Muhammad Mudassir is the relationship manager at United Bank Limited (UBL) in Pakistan. He is in charge of worker remittance business within the bank’s retail banking group. His responsibilities include designing marketing plans and business strategies to increase remittance inflows. A principal focus of this work is identifying new partners across the globe and attracting international money transfer companies to partner with Pakistani banks. He is also currently associated with the Karachi-based Baltistan Students Federation (BSF), a nonprofit organization providing support to students from rural areas. Muhammad holds an MBA in finance from Kasbit Institute of Technology and has passed the Chartered Accountancy Foundation Examination of Pakistan’s Institute of Chartered Accountants. During his Fellowship year, he will be studying entrepreneurial management. He plans to establish contacts with several renowned money transfer companies to improve remittance service in Pakistan. He also aims to develop a network with social entrepreneurs creating innovative programs for early childhood development in order to establish an orphanage in his region.
