Khadidjatou Fayez Fall

Ms. Khadidjatou Fayez Fall is a team leader in the Financial Transaction Department at the Central Bank of West African States, which serves eight countries in the West African Economic and Monetary Union. Her responsibilities include international transfer management for payment of Senegal’s debt and the production of data and analysis of international expenses. She is a member of the Technical Group Project that set up and ameliorated the first automatic compensation system in the West African Economic and Monetary Union. In a country dominated by cash payment, Ms. Fall promotes using electronic payment to the general public, the government and businesses. In addition, Khadidjatou participates in conferences with other offices of the Central Bank to define general policy and rules about the system of payment. She has helped control the evolution of the payment system in Senegal with the assistance of international organizations such as the World Bank and the African Bank of Development.
Prior to this, Ms. Fall worked at Barclays Bank and PNB Paribas in Paris and later returned to Senegal to contribute to its economic development. She has attended several macroeconomic, monetary policy and regulation seminars and workshops administered by the International Monetary Fund and the West African Center of Bank Study. She graduated from Paris XII University with a degree in Administration and Economics, concentrating in Banking and Finance.
During her Humphrey year, Khadidjatou wants to enhance her knowledge of audits, banking controls and regulations, financial management and engineering as well as management of payment systems. She will use this training to address the financial and economic challenges in Senegal and West Africa.
