Ms. Svitlana Taran is the EU-Ukraine DCFTA and Trade Policy Adviser for the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. In her role, Ms. Taran provides analytical and consulting support to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration on matters related to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement (AA), Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA), trade-related policies, and on latest developments in Ukraine’s foreign trade. During her Fellowship year, Svitlana plans to strengthen her expertise in trade policy analysis and development, improve her strategic planning and coordination skills, gain international experience and expand her perspective on global developments.

Ms. Taran holds a Masters in Economics from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, EERC MA Program.
