Kang Zhang

Director of Digital Marketing & Advertising

Kang Zhang joined Boston University in April 2025 as Director of Digital Marketing & Advertising on the Graduate Enrollment team. In this role, he leads strategy and execution across paid media channels—including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and programmatic platforms—to support graduate enrollment university-wide. He collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage campaign performance, allocate budgets, and engage target audiences, leveraging data-driven insights to maximize media efficiency and impact.

Originally from China, Kang earned his undergraduate degree in E-commerce Engineering in Beijing before pivoting to communication and marketing. He later completed a master’s in Communication Management at Emerson College in Boston. With over eight years of experience in digital marketing, Kang has led performance marketing initiatives across global platforms and has deep expertise in reaching student audiences. He is passionate about using analytics to drive strategy and building campaigns that connect prospective students with transformative educational opportunities.
