Ian Baker

As the Senior Data Analyst for Enrollment Strategy, Ian is responsible for providing complex data analysis on overarching graduate enrollment strategy, enrollment trends, and student lifecycle data.

Immediately prior to joining BU, Ian was the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY, where he was responsible for data analysis and submission of all state, federal, and accrediting body data reports and collaborated across the college on various analytical projects. He previously worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Michigan in data-oriented roles spanning alumni relations, academic affairs, and student affairs. Ian has a BA in History and an MA in Higher Education from the University of Michigan, a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University, and a graduate certificate in Data Management from Suffolk University.
