As Chief of Staff and Special Advisor to the Vice President and Associate Provost, Nancy plays an integral role on Global Programs’ senior leadership team. Among her many duties, she supports the execution of cross-functional priorities and contributes to the development and strategic growth of Global Programs. Nancy improves the flow of internal communications and assists in collective efforts to strengthen, support, and coordinate BU’s international programs and operations across the University and around the world. She works closely with Program Data Analyst Joe Dobrowolski to oversee Global Programs-related data support, analysis, and communication.
Before joining Global Programs, Nancy had an extensive and successful leadership career in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Most recently, she was Executive Vice President of Enterprise Effectiveness for Feeding America. She also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and led a team of fundraisers to secure financial and other resources in support of the organization’s hunger relief mission
Prior to transitioning into the non-profit sector, Nancy held senior leadership roles in marketing and strategy at various consumer products companies and advertising agencies.
Nancy earned a MBA, with a concentration in Marketing and Organizational Behavior, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Princeton University. Nancy has both lived and volunteered abroad and has visited 28 countries to date. In her spare time Nancy enjoys travelling, volunteering with hunger relief charities, taking art classes, trying new restaurants and reading.
