About Me
I am a graduate student at Boston University (BU) finishing up a masters degree in Electrical Engineering (EE). I moved to Boston in the fall of 2004 after graduating from the University of New Mexico (UNM) in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico with a bachelors of science in EE. As an undergraduate at UNM, I worked extensively with interferometric lithography for Dr. Steve Brueck of the Center for High Technology Materials (CHTM) to produce nanometer-scale periodic structures for various applications.

At BU I am working in Dr. Kamil Ekinci's Nanoscale Engineering Laboratory in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. I am currently working on a masters thesis project that involves the use of fiber optics for the detection of nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS).
