Advancing Security, Dignity and Growth:

The Role of the International Criminal Court in Ending Impunity and Fostering Greater Well-Being

The African Studies Center, the Center for Finance, Law & Policy, and the School of Law, announce the Bradford Morse Distinguished Lecture with the Honorable Fatou Bensouda, the newly named Chief Prosecutor of the ICC.

A new reality is emerging.  Developing countries are establishing themselves as safe, stable places to live and work.  While there is still much to be done in the struggle for Human Rights, the gruesome details of Human Rights abuses are becoming the exception, while societal and economic stability and growth are becoming the rule.  In this context, the International Criminal Court plays a critical role in protecting and advancing environments conducive to human security, dignity and growth.

-Date & Time: Friday, April 13th, 3:00-5:00 PM

-Location: The Esplanade Room, Hotel Commonwealth, 500 Comm Ave, Boston
