SARP in collaboration with the Center for Gender & Sexuality Activism is hosting a Lecture and Panel Series on COVID-19 and Domestic Violence. Below are details about the event. Dr. Bharati Khurana and Dr. Mardi Balcom Chadwick of Brigham & Women Hospital will be sharing a lecture on the Impact of COVID-19 on Domestic Violence Survivors. Dr. Khurana and Dr. Balcom Chadwick were featured in the LA Times for their findings on how COVID-19 contributed to a spike in IPV. In their findings they noticed that injuries were more severe, but that survivors were not having the same access to resources.
