The Center for Innovation in HIV Care is looking for a Program Manager
Under the supervision of the Curriculum Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for managing the budget, teleconferences and webinars, and all other aspects of a new center for innovation in HIV care, a project of The Fenway Institute in collaboration with AIDS United and the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. The focus of the center is helping AIDS service organizations and health care providers establish formal partnerships to improve HIV care, increase the percentage of people living with HIV who are virally suppressed, reduce disparities in the HIV treatment cascade, and increase the long-term viability of the nation’s HIV care infrastructure.
Primary responsibilities include: managing the Center’s work plan and budget; organizing the logistics of regular conference calls and meetings; developing a strategy for working with HIV care providers to improve the continuum of care and increase sustainability; assisting Faculty in editing, formatting and finalizing PowerPoint slides for webinars; helping write, edit and format issue briefs, learning tools, and other elements of online toolkit; assisting with promotions, recruitment, and curriculum development; serving as technical host for webinars and teleconferences; creating instruments to measure process and program outcomes; creating online surveys and analyzing survey data; analyzing evaluation data and preparing reports; and organizing and scheduling teleconferences to promote technical assistance to HIV care organizations.
Additional responsibilities include: preparing and submitting regular reports; disseminating information about the Center via email list-serves, social media, etc.; managing updates to program webpages; creating and managing program email addresses; developing an email list for HIV care organizations; and assisting with logistics related to promoting the Center at relevant HIV/AIDS conferences.
Requirements:
• MPH or Master’s in a related field strongly preferred
• 2-3 years project management experience
• HIV-related and LGBT health experience preferred
• Strong communication, writing and editing skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications
• Experience with design applications a plus
• Experience creating needs assessments and analyzing data strongly preferred
• Survey software experience preferred
• Knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse communities, particularly communities of color and LGBT communities
• Ability to travel as needed
• Experience working with an ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse work staff preferred
• Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals required
