A special note about Blackboard for the Spring 2013 semester
Blackboard Learn
This spring the University is rolling out an updated version of Blackboard, the learning management system that provides for course websites. This system, referred to as Blackboard Learn, is a more flexible and faster system than the version we have been using in the past and one which, depending on course goals and teaching styles, can allow for greater student participation in the course website. It is our hope that as many of our courses as possible will move to Blackboard Learn for the spring semester. You will be able to access the websites for the courses using the new system which you are enrolled in at http://learn.bu.edu. It may take a week to 10 days for course webs for Spring 2013 to be created and made available so please be patient. Your instructors will clarify for you the system that will be used for a given course (our former Blackboard system <http://blackboard.bu.edu> or Blackboard Learn <http://learn.bu.edu>).
