This past summer Dr. Pat Hibberd stepped into the role of Chair of the Department of Global Health. Before her position here she was a professor of global health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She also has headed the Division of Global Health in the Department of Pediatrics at MGH. Outside of these previous positions she keeps busy contributing to many different research initiatives and projects with multiple organizations including but not limited to the NIH, NEIDL, & the Global Network for Women’s & Children’s Health Research.
Dr. Hibberd is a native of Liverpool, England with experience working with a variety of different public health interest areas in many countries around the world including Malawi, India, and Pakistan. She is looking forward to getting to know our SPH students who are interested in Global Health. We hope you can join us on Tuesday evening!
