LANCET / CUGH AWARDS | BEST STUDENT POSTERS
The Lancet Global Health and CUGH will award seven $500 awards to seven student poster presentations. To qualify, the abstract must be submitted for a student-led project. Students who wish to compete must submit an abstract by November 1, 2015 and ‘OPT IN’ on the submission form.
2016 CUGH REFLECTION ESSAY CONTEST
The fourth annual CUGH Reflection Essay Contest highlights reflections in global health education and practice. Trainees from undergraduate/university level, graduate/professional level and post-graduate levels are eligible to submit an essay to the contest. New this year: GH practitioners and faculty are also invited to submit in a non-trainee category. The deadline for essay submissions is December 1, 2015.
2016 VELJI AWARDS FOR GLOBAL HEALTH EXCELLENCE
Every year the Velji Family Foundation honors four CUGH members for their contributions in 3 categories: global health innovation, implementation, and education. Each awardee receives $750 to support their ongoing work in global health. The deadline for nominations is November 1, 2015.
