Impact Investment Intern
The primary purpose of this role is to assess different types of investment, to be defined, in conjunction with solving specific target market needs and investor appetite, and may include (but not limited to): conventional private equity-type funds, partnerships models, JV’s, platform investments and other direct investing opportunities utilizing debt, hybrid and/or equity instruments, as appropriate. The ambit of financial instruments will also include focusing on the development and roll-out of Development Impact Bonds (DIBs).

The External Launch internship is an opportunity to play a central role in a significant and proactive business transformation. This individual will provide instrumental internal communications support to deliver the “Branding our GRM Future” project. The project is working with corporate leaders and other stakeholders to update the company’s branding strategy to align with our business growth objectives and to reflect an employer of choice and an industry leader.

The intern will gain broad exposure to the design and background research for, and implementation of global health and related programs as well as government policy-making in developing countries. Primary responsibility will be to assist HQ and field technical staff with literature review, quantitative analysis, and certain administrative tasks related to ongoing technical activities from the key technical program areas. The position requires the application of qualitative and quantitative research skills in the domain areas of HIV&AIDS, health financing, and mathematical modeling to resolve health policy research questions. The intern may have an opportunity to collaborate on publications for refereed journals.
