in Practicums/Internships
December 12th, 2014

Join us on December 18th for a Google Hangout on Air that will focus on our summer 2015 internships with the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Our Hangout on Air will feature GHFP-II staff and current and recent interns. Hear first-hand about the application process, what you can learn as an intern, what it’s like to work with USAID on global health projects, and what we look for in applicants. In addition, interns will talk candidly about how they approached their own applications and interviews for these competitive positions. We’ll be featuring an interactive Q&A.

We anticipate about 30 internship openings for summer 2015. These compensated internships are in the Global Health Bureau at USAID. They focus on a variety of technical areas including HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, maternal and child health, health systems, nutrition, supply chain and population demographics among others. As a result, we are seeking candidates from a broad range of academic backgrounds including, but not limited to, public health, social work, education, medicine, nursing/midwifery, public policy, business administration and law.

You can preview the internships and upload a profile now at www.ghfp.net. These positions will go live on December 15, 2014 and the application deadline is January 5, 2015.
