Android Developers Needed for Boston-Based Start-Up Focused on Health Communication for Expectant Mothers

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of responsive and intuitive applications
- Assist in the design of applications from concept to launch, and through their life-time
- Keep up with trends and new developments in the space of mobile development (i.e. material design)
- Collaborate in the development of innovative ways to increase user immersion and interaction
- Assist in the testing of software products via emulation-based and/or live demo-based methods
- Join the product team in the development of the mobile development life cycle
- Evaluate and increase an application’s effectiveness
- Clarify what actions the program is intended to perform
- Work closely with data analysts and designers to increase the product’s feature-set and robustness
Qualifications:
Strong preference will be given to candidates with the skillsets outlined below
- Java and Javacript
- XML
- Objective-C/Swift (for iOS platforms) (a plus but not required)
- Experience in developing custom UI interactions and interfaces
- Experience with Parse, Github and Crashlytics
