Career Fair 2014 Resume Book
We are excited to be offering you another way to get your resume seen by employers at the Career Fair-the “Career Fair 2014 Resume Book”. To be included in this resume book, your resume must be approved by the Career Services Office by Feb. 20th. We hope your resume will be included in this on-line publication for participating employers to view!
There are TWO DIFFERENT PROCESSES to get your resume approved and included in the Career Fair 2014 Resume Book:
A. For students who HAVE had their resume previously critiqued by Career Services:
• Email latest draft of your resume to sphcareeroffice@bu.edu by Jan. 27th.Use the subject line “Previously reviewed resume- 2014 Resume Book”. Please send resume in a Word document (no PDF’s).
Formatting tips: Your resume should be no longer than 2 pages. Style is important, but resume writing is subjective. For some examples of resume templates, log into the document library in SPH Career Link.(sph.bu.edu/CareerLink) • Resumes will be returned via email, indicating that they are approved or need additional work. • Students then upload approved resumes to the Career Fair Resume book through SPH CareerLink by Feb. 20th.
B. For students who HAVE NOT had their resume previously critiqued by Career Services:
• Attend a “Rapid Resume Review” session, resume drop-in or resume workshop (see “Upcoming Resume Events” schedule below)
• Submit current resume to sphcareeroffice@bu.edu for a critique by Feb. 7th. Use the subject line “Requesting resume review- 2014 Resume Book”
. Please send resume in a Word document (no PDF’s).

Resume Drop-Ins (15 minute sessions, no appointment needed); Career Center Mondays and Thursdays 9:00-11:00 AM (see Career website for specific dates-excludes holidays and event days)
Workshop: Marketing Yourself: Creating Powerful Resumes and Cover Letters Jan. 30th 12:00-1:00 Room 106E (RSVP in the Workshop section of “Events” in SPH CareerLink)
