A request from our potential Arts Society at BUSPH. They would like your feedback!
“We’re a group of BUSPH students aspiring to initiate a group that aims to unify students and faculty to create a space for health leaders that incorporates knowledge and appreciation of The Arts in Public Health. Our proposed BUSPH Arts Society will endeavor to promote the arts as a means to create better public health interventions. It will incorporate dance, music, photography, culinary arts, visual arts, theater as a method to cultivate understanding and tolerance of public health issues through awareness and education.
We would like to get a better idea of the interest among students and faculty before launching this group. We have been collaborating with Moises Fernandez from the Arts Outreach Initiative within the BU School of Medicine Diversity and Multicultural Affairs Office. He has requested that we run an interest poll to see where key interest lies within the School of Public Health as part of our collective mission.
