Next Friday, a group of 11 BUSPH students will be traveling to Xela, Guatemala. We are dedicating our Spring Break to work on a water sanitation project with Primeros Pasos. Primeros Pasos is a non-profit, independent organization with a comprehensive outlook on health care. With the collaboration of health professionals, health educators, volunteers, and community leaders, Primeros Pasos offers quality and affordable health care and health education to the rural, underserved communities of the Palajunoj Valley of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.

Along with building tippy tappys, we will also be conducting health education sessions for local primary schools and volunteering at Primeros Pasos’ clinic. As this year’s trip leader, I would like to ask for your small donation. All the proceeds will go directly to Primeros Pasos and our sanitation project supplies.
