Are you curious about career opportunities in global health? Could you use guidance on career development, including tips for resumes, cover letters, and interviews? Would you like to know more about fellowship and internship opportunities with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Global Health Fellows Program II (GHFP-II)? GHFP-II currently has about 120 active fellows in USAID offices in Washington, DC and overseas, and a cohort of 25 summer interns at USAID in Washington, DC. Join us for casual drop-in chat sessions with GHFP-II staff next week, on February 7th and 8th.
Viewing your global health career through the eyes of an employer: Although the ASPH Virtual Career Fair has been cancelled, we have partnered with CareerEco to bring you these virtual chats; a unique opportunity to gain specialized career insight from an employer’s perspective, and to make informal personal connections with some of our staff.
Something for everyone: We will be on hand much of the day to answer your questions directly, and help you gain insight on our competitive program that places junior, mid, and senior level global health professionals at the cutting-edge of development policy work in the largest development organization in the world. Our fellowship and internship programs serve as excellent next steps in the field of global health. For undergraduates, we will have information about our partner GlobeMed, which connects university chapters with community organizations in the developing world.
