Applications are now being accepted for the Massachusetts Health Policy Forum. This 2-day Student Forum taking place at the State House, January 4-5, 2012 is an amazing opportunity for anyone interested in the legislative elements of health policy.
The purpose of the forum is to give Boston graduate students direct insight into how state government health policy is created and implemented. During the two-day forum, students meet legislators, committee staff and state officials and attend a panel discussion with lobbyists, advocates and media representatives. This year, the unifying theme is cost containment strategies and the impact on delivery system changes, access, and quality. This forum also includes a dinner discussion at a hotel in downtown Boston.
Space is limited and participants must apply. Applications must be submitted to Heatherly Mitch at hlmitch@bu.edu by November 4th at 5:00pm
