World Relief Internship – Stand for the Vulnerable

in Practicums/Internships
September 23rd, 2011

Interested in volunteering or interning in one of World Relief’s 25 US Offices or their 15 international locations?

Here’s what a recent BUSPH graduate had to say:
“For six months last spring I was a public health intern with World Relief in Papua, Indonesia for the Mobilizing for Life HIV/AIDS project. I was able to practice some of my public health skills through assisting in an assessment for a home-based care project and in maternal and child health. I was able to use the assessment to provide recommendations for project plan-ning. Working with and learning from the World Relief Indonesia staff was a wonderful experi-ence! They helped me learn about the culture and working in international projects. I would definitely recommend this practicum experience to other BUSPH students.”
