Sophie Reilly
Assistant Director, Foundation Relations
Sophie joined the Foundation Relations team in July 2025 and supports faculty across health sciences, social sciences, and humanities. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Northwestern University, an MA from McMaster University, and a BA in Anthropology and Communication Studies from McGill University. Sophie brings experience in communications from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and Hydro Ottawa, where she focused on ensuring that complex technical information was understandable to a broad public. She also served as a fellow at Northwestern’s Graduate Writing Place for two years, guiding researchers through the writing process.
