Veterans & Military Benefits

Striving to provide excellence in service through timely and accurate benefit processing and high-quality customer service, we offer guidance at all stages of the student’s academic program and provide assistance with campus resources and community opportunities. Support is available to all Boston University military-affiliated students.

Eligibility criteria is established by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Defense and is subject to change. At Boston University we do everything we can to ensure that the information presented here and the advice provided to students about benefit eligibility is as accurate and timely as possible. However, the ultimate responsibility for that information and for securing benefits rests with the student.

Located at the address below, Veterans Services is a part of BU Financial Assistance and is responsible for the critical functions of certifying and reporting  enrollment information to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure eligible students receive educational benefits.

For active duty military, service members are encouraged to contact their Educational Service Officer (ESO) or command counselor prior to taking classes.
