Faculty liaisons are selected representatives from across Boston University’s schools and colleges who serve as advocates, advisers, and connectors between their academic units and the Institute for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Additionally, they:

• Provide valuable feedback and insights to shape programs, policies, and strategic planning related to teaching and learning.
• Foster collaboration across disciplines and promote the sharing of effective practices.
• Communicate the goals and initiatives of the Institute to their schools/colleges, departments, and faculty.
• Help identify emerging needs and opportunities in pedagogy, instructional technology, and faculty development.
• Act as champions for innovation, equity, and evidence-informed teaching approaches within their academic communities.

This group ensures that the work of the Institute is informed by faculty perspectives and is aligned with the evolving needs of both instructors and students across the university.
