Prior to leaving BU, Dustin Supa was the senior associate dean and associate professor, public relations, at COM. He earned his PhD in communication with an emphasis in public relations at the University of Miami. His research focused on the media relations process in public relations, corporate social advocacy (activism) and the integration of public relations and advertising. He has published nearly two dozen peer-reviewed articles and has presented at more than 40 conferences, and served as a consultant to various clients across industries, including educational, not-for-profit, entertainment and corporations.
