Amita Ganesh

Amita Ganesh is an undergraduate student majoring in Sociocultural Anthropology. She is currently developing her Honors Thesis in Anthropology, which explores Bollywood cinema and its relationship to gender and cultural narratives. Her general research interests include media studies, gender, and the ways that popular culture can shape social and economic life. She is especially interested in making economic and social science research more accessible, relevant, and engaging for wider audiences. At the ECI, she works on various communications tasks including drafting blogs, developing social media content, and providing support with research for ECI teaching materials.
