Support Inclusive Teaching
What is Inclusive Teaching?
Inclusive teaching supports equitable and inclusive learning environments, which foster student engagement and recognize the strengths and diversity of both students and faculty.
Inclusive Teaching Resources
The Inclusive Pedagogy Initiative is supported by Boston University's Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and our team.
Initiated in 2021, the institutional endeavor engages the multidimensional expertise of our increasingly diverse faculty across BU’s 17 schools and colleges. In collaboration with our team, the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion plan to develop, design, and pilot a multifaceted initiative for the University.

- Read&Write Gold: Boston University purchased Texthelp’s Read&Write GOLD in 2012 and is available as a free download to everyone with a login and Kerberos password. Those familiar with the software say all students, faculty, and staff could find its reading, writing, and studying tools helpful, but that it’s especially beneficial for people with learning disabilities. Connect with a Learning Community
Our team is committed to building learning communities and creating gathering places for Boston University leadership, faculty, and staff technology users to share ideas, meet and connect with colleagues, and discuss platforms designed to improve students’ learning experiences.
