2026 Platform Strategy Research Symposium Recap
Last week we hosted the 13th annual Platform Strategy Research Symposium, bringing together global scholars to advance the latest platforms research at Questrom School of Business, Boston University. This year was highly competitive for paper presentations with over 170 quality papers submitted.
Some event highlights:
– Editors & Senior Scholars Panel on publishing in top tier journals such as Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, and MISQ as well as practitioner journals such as Sloan Management Review.
– The 5th Annual Alessandra di Fiore Best Paper Prize for outstanding academic research with business impact. The prize honors the memory of Alessandra di Fiore, whose influential work in management strategy—including the concept of the “Insight-Driven” organization—earned him recognition as a Thinkers50 2016 Radar Thinker. This year’s Best Paper Prize went to Felix Schleef, and the runner up paper authors were, Ashish Agarwal, Vasundhara Sharma, and Sumeet Kumar.
