The BU CTSI is recruiting for two staff positions

The Director for Program Evaluation (Tracking Code: 23500587020329) of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute implements and manages multiple individual evaluation plans associated with programs that advance Translational Science through: (1) biomedical research training to faculty, scholars/fellows and staff and (2) research services, resources and tools to researchers that span the research continuum for basic research to translation to humans, patients, practice, and humans. The Institute is funded by the NIH, National Center for Advancing Clinical Sciences.

The Director must be skilled in collaborating with program directors and MD PhD investigators to develop program evaluation plans that identify and prioritize activities to be completed during the funding period, as well as data dissemination plans to share findings with diverse stakeholders. The Director must be experienced with using inclusive, participatory evaluation approaches in the design and implementation of mixed method evaluation and ongoing use of program data to demonstrate accountability for the attainment of program aims and ensure continuous improvement of programs and organizational learning and change.

The Finance & Operations Administrator (Tracking Code: 23500136350224) of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) reports to the Director for Finance and Operations in the coordination of the CTI’s day-to-day financial, administrative, and operational management.  Runs monthly financial reports, reconciles CTSI expenses & prepares journals as needed, has overall responsibility for accounts payable, program income journals and CTSI related travel arrangements and reimbursements. Provides administrative support for the Executive office to include scheduling meetings, organizing meeting events to internal and external boards, Symposia, workshops, program meetings as well as Leadership meetings. Provides operational support for the Executive Office to include BU Facility requests, assist with space planning, equipment maintenance and inventory. Works closely with Boston University’s procurement, facilities, and IT in the support of the CTSI Finance, administrative and operational support.
