Supported BU Linux releases:
Previous BU Linux releases (including the 2.x series, Surfer Rosa and Gigantic) are no longer supported. Since we have limited resources, we cannot provide Linux technical support beyond the services we normally offer for all other operating systems. If you don't currently have a support arrangement with OIT Systems Support , we can often offer help on a time and materials basis, or we can talk about establishing a more permanent support relationship. Please contact us at linux-help@bu.edu for more information. Of course, we do encourage you to make use of the resources available here, especially our BU Linux distribution. And, please check the FAQ for places to go for help, both here at BU and worldwide. A good place to start might be the bu.linux newsgroup, an unofficial forum for Linux discussion and help. If you find a bug in our Linux distribution, please file a report using the BU Linux Bugzilla. |
